In this article, we delve into the Sierra Leone Open Elections Data Platform (SLOEDP), an integral part of the broader Open Elections Data Platform (OEDP). By leveraging this comprehensive web platform, we aim to provide an in-depth analysis of past elections, offering valuable insights and unbiased perspectives regarding the upcoming election in Sierra Leone. With a primary focus on eradicating election violence and promoting transparency, the SLOEDP plays a crucial role in ensuring data accessibility and fostering a democratic electoral process.

 

SLOEDP serves a dual purpose, acting as a repository for machine-readable and analyzable elections data while also providing real-time reporting on election violence through an interactive online map. By making data widely accessible and transparent, the platform contributes to the integrity and fairness of elections in Sierra Leone, facilitating informed decision-making and promoting accountability.

 

Utilizing the wealth of data available on the SLOEDP, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of past elections in Sierra Leone. By examining trends, patterns, and regional variations, we gained valuable insights into voter registration rates, voter turnout, demographic shifts, electoral outcomes, voter apathy and other relevant factors. This analysis provides a holistic understanding of the electoral landscape, helping to identify areas for improvement and inform future electoral strategies.

 

Drawing upon the analysis of past elections data from the SLOEDP, we offer unbiased analysis on past elections in Sierra Leone. Our objective is to provide an objective assessment based on historical context, demographic changes, political dynamics, socio-economic factors, and other pertinent aspects. These analyses aim to contribute to a fair evaluation of the electoral process and encourage transparency and fairness in the upcoming election.
